Carrs Paints has been trading since 1892 and so has a long history of excellent service to our customers, indeed for any UK company to have been in existence for in excess of 115 years is testament to their professionalism and progressive nature.

Up until 1997, when we sold off our automotive business to Dupont, we were the largest supplier of paint to the UK OEM automotive market and held preferred supplier status to Rover, Jaguar and Peugeot.

We have since focused our resources into the industrial coatings market and have concentrated on the supply of technically advanced products into a wide range of manufacturing sectors including OEM automotive, wheels, engines, chassis, glass, ceramics, cycles, plastics, gas bottles , foundries, and the enclosure industry.

We have approvals with JCB and other off Highway manufactures.

We still retain a very good reputation among OEM wheel manufactures and refurbishers, supplying our water-borne clear-over-base technology to the same stringent quality standards as our OEM body colours. We are currently approved for the supply of wheels coated with our products into Lotus, Daewoo, TVR, Toyota, Aston Martin, Bentley, Mitsubishi and Jaguar.

We have grown into a major industrial paint supplier by listening to our customers requirements and being pro-active rather than reactive in our approach.
